Lighting concept for Andrew Martin

The as systems GmbH was asked to plan and carry thru to completion the lighting concept for the trade-fair appearance of the London furniture designer Andrew Martin International, at the Paris Maison & Objet, an international fair specializing in high-class interieur design. Here, it meant the planning, organisation and implementation of the designer’s harmonious illumination and staging concept to a large approx. 200 sq m exhibition booth. Hundreds of decorative floor-length ropes, hanging from the ceiling, posed a special challenge in lighting design. Nevertheless the client’s reliance on as systems to direct the exhibit’s visitors attention specifically to their sophisticated exhibits, was proven justified. as systems extensive international experience in lighting and media planning resulted in a visually stimulating presentation that was effective and flexible, yet, it was technically safe and highlighted the design of the exhibition booth.
