Rain for the opening gala of ITB Berlin

ITB Berlin is the leading trade fair for the global travel industry.
More than 10,000 exhibiting companies from 184 countries will be

exhibiting in 26 halls of the Berlin exhibition grounds on the five

exhibition days from 8 - 12 March 2017.
The focus was on the partner country Botswana, which hosted

a spectacular reception on the ITB opening ceremony in the

CityCube Berlin on the eve of the fair.
#ilovebotswana: With this motto, 20 artists and eleven artists

of different performance groups, impressively demonstrated the

diverse tourist offers from the various regions of Botswana with

dance performances, musical inserts and theatrical elements.

The ensemble under the direction of Andrew Kola from

the Mophato Dance Theater offered a colorful and varied show

on stage, which also included a dance in the monsoon.
This was implemented on stage with the help of a 30 m long

rain installation by as systems, in front of about 3000 guests,

including many celebrities from politics and tourism.
