Automatica 2018 

The Automatica 2018 took place from 19.06. until 22.06.2018 in Munich.

With more than 46,000 visitors and 890 exhibitors this year, it is the leading

international marketplace for intelligent automation and robotics.

ABB as a leading supplier of industrial robots, demonstrated modular

manufacturing systems and service under the motto

"The Dawn of a New Robotics Era". One of the 4 new products which were

presented in hall 5 on nearly

700 square meters was the #IRB6790 Foundry Prime 3 designed for

high-pressure water jet cleaning, washing and similar applications with

100% humidity.

In cooperation with ict AG and brose communication GmbH,

as systems GmbH was asked to support this product launch with special

water technology. In order to simulate harsh and humid industrial environment,

a single-row, graphic water walls acted in an interactive and synchronized

manner with this industrial robot. In addition, double-rowed water walls were

also used for show purpose on the booth stand.
